I am getting ready to build some cabinets for our home.
Several neighbors have had cabinets built and finished with lacquer and they aren't happy with it. Primarily because the finish doesn't appear to wear as well as their prior cabinets and finish did.
Is there a cabinet finish that can be used that wears well and can be easily repaired if necessary?
