After 12 years, I got around to making a display case for a flag I got a few clicks south of Baghdad. The flag is approx. 35" x 52".
I made a stretcher out of scrap plywood and then attached 1/4" foam board. That was then covered with a layer of acrylic felt and topped with a layer of muslin.
The face frame and case are made of birch finished with a walnut stain.
The flag is secured to the stretcher with a series of pins.
