Two Hands on the Saw Handle

mercredi 25 février 2015

I was watching a Roy Underhill video and noticed he had two hands on the tenon saw when cutting a board in the vise.

I don't recall doing that.

Do any of you use both hands on the saw? I can see that if you hold the saw handle like it is a baby bird, the saw would be able to follow it's own track.

I typically use only one hand loosely on the handle. I also find the position of my feet and body to be important. I like the pictures Chris Schwarz showed in some of his articles.
